RDDA President’s Message Spring 2010
Spring has most certainly sprung! It is so refreshing to feel the warm sun on your face, see the daffodils and tulips blooming and smell the fresh morning dew! As with every new season, change seems to follow closely behind. For me the change comes the beginning of May when my fiancé and I will start a new adventure in Flagstaff, AZ! He recently graduated from Nurse Anesthesia School and was offered a job at Flagstaff Medical Center. We are very excited to be surrounded by mountains and outdoor explorations; however, this transition unfortunately cuts my time as RDDA president short. It has been an extreme honor to serve as your RDDA President and I am very grateful for the opportunity to lead a group of such wonderful, talented, passionate RD’s and DTR’s. I would like to thank each one of you for the support you have not only given me, but the organization of RDDA. We will already be in Flagstaff at the time of the May meeting. I wish I could say goodbye in person, but know I will be there in spirit. I have all the faith and confidence in the world in my successor, Kim Bisanz, as she is such a go-getter and has been a huge help to me during my term as President. Again I thank you and I will miss you all!
Wishing you all healthy and happy eating!
Cailie Fura, RDDA President
